Thanks for leaving it until an hour before KO before calling the game off Merseyside Police. <doh>

What's wrong with an hour? Most Everton supporters probably hadn't even left the house by then.

Can't complain about the game being called off so late... They have no control over bits flying off a house. Imagine if they had not called the game off and someone was killed. Smart move all round, plus I was in Aberdeen so get to see it now:1980_boogie_down:

It wasn't the fact that it was called off because of safety concerns, it was the fact that they left it until gone 7, when the forecast had been quite clear all day what was coming. It'd have helped thousands if they'd have called it off an hour or 2 earlier if there was any grave doubts.

I will have a word with the tiles/roof around goodison to not fall off within an hour of kickoff again <whistle>

Yeah the housing stock in the area must have aged on the day mate, it's not like it's Victorian & thus susceptible to storm damage or anything & they couldn't predict this as the forecast gale force winds started to rip through the area at 5....

I suspect your view might have been a tad different had you made your usual trip btw.......

Not a great performance today looked slow and hesitant at times but a wins a win and we travel to the Emirates In the quarters so will need to pick up our game for that one...

Didn't play well today but managed a steady 3-1 win. The new guy looked okay, his first start and a goal. Players returning to form and fitness. The race to the end of the season starts now. 39 points to go in the league and one game away from a semi at wembley.

We looked nervous at times today, but still should have probably won by more than we did

The Cup draw was a tough one, but at least we're still in....

One game at a time & all that....

Congratulations on the win.
Scrappy until you took charge in the final 35 minutes.
From our perspective it's disappointing to go out but our reserves did well.

Hope Neismwith (?) is OK took quite a bang on the jaw. Some good hard but fair tackles and few mistimed ones that players accepted and got on with. A game played by grown ups.
Wouldn't mind you winning the cup, if only to show Moyes up.

I can't agree with that , we gifted you 2 goals at least , although very surprised that we were level at half time considering the side we had out today I thought we had a good proportion of the play .We didn't do enough in the second half to warrant a win but I don't think 3-1 was a fair reflection overall. Good luck v Arsenal and thanks for the welcome today :emoticon-0148-yes: (much nicer than the other lot )
