I hope we dont break the bank to sign lukaku, I wouldn't want to pay more than £10-15m for him. However with the additional supply of McGeady he may well show my concerns to be rubbish.

I think the likelihood of him being available has increased since he arrived, as the public spat with Mourinho & the subsequent strong Chelsea links with a couple of different World Class strikers this summer. It's apparent to me that Maureen doesn't really fancy the lad & at best he'd be bench fodder if he goes back there.

I can't see that suiting the lad & I think it's increasingly likely now, that he'll be sacrificed in order to part fund a new striker at the Bridge.

Whether we can land him remains to be seen, I think he's worth every penny of £20m. I think once truly settled at a club on along term contract, we'd see the lad really come on & develop some consistency to his game. He's still very young, so we shouldn't be surprised that he's somewhat erratic in his form. But on his day, he's unplayable & is amongst the best in the league & that makes him a £20m+ striker in the current market. In terms of an investment & quality I'd cartwheel if he sign this lad on a permanent deal.

^ We didn't pay £2.5m for McGeady & the deal for Jelavic was up to £7.5m, so there's half of the incoming unspent, you f**king dolt.

Plus Martinez had a kitty in the summer, that he didn't spend.

This is a football forum not your job so you're not required to lie about numbers here <ok>

You have £1.8m profit from last season's transfers but I'm sure that wasn't all pissed up the wall over the badge redesign then backtrack debacle <doh>

I'm not sure why you expect large transfer kitties. Everton have always been a selling club and now debt is at an all time high and wages are eating up the vast majority of revenue

From a footballing perspective the best business you could do this Summer is to keep hold of Barkley but it seems very unlikely <ok>
