Koeman repeatedly called out in the press striker and left sided defender none came?

Nothing was wrong with the way we played last year apart from more points needed against the top teams Koeman was in charge then...The same Koeman that oversaw our best home record for how long??

Normally people can make excuses in hindsight but I agree with Koeman he probably did think he was gone soon when no striker was installed?

I believe we are in trouble whoever gets the gig it won't be Unsworth not with 3 defeats from 3..

Said he wanted a striker. But he had his heart set in Giroud. Said he wanted a left sided defender.....but only chased Sigurdsson all summer.

I had no problem with our play last season. The incompetence from those in charge is to remove the manager and go three games without a replacement.

So Walsh and bill just let him at it in the summer then as it was just Koemans responsibility ok then glad thats sorted lol

By all accounts Lookman and the kid out on loan at Anderlecht we’re walsh signings. As was Gueye.

But to want a striker, say you want a striker and then only have Giroud in mind is awesome Work.

Plus I no longer believe Bill controls spend, he has a minor share holding now. Look at Moshiri and his dealings with Jim White and they are more cringeworthy than Bill.

Still long term I believe we are moving in the right direction. Just the CG bid loss and current form holding back the stadium move.

Back to Koeman.

Signed Klassen, Sigurdsson and sent dowel out on loan to forest and made Barkley a scapegoat. But couldn’t find time in the summer to sign/identify the striker even you and I knew we needed.
Then didn’t register Niasse for the EL squad......

It couldn't be just Koeman ?

It’s a bit like saying that it wasn’t just Bobbys fault then.

Ultimately Koeman didn’t get the main position filled early doors during the transfer window and spent more time on the Algarve and chasing Sigurdsson than getting a striker
 
Sitting deep getting bossed by Crystal ****ing Palace shocking how low we have gone we cant stick with Unsworth we are 2nd tier otherwise

Seems like Southampton pushed to get Niasse banned. Based on Barton’s assessment you should walk it
