It was a goal for sure and fortunately goal line technology now exists so this should never happen again, but it was a freak occurrence referee and linesman were correctly placed and I challenge anyone to be able to tell from pitch level that the ball was over the line the only person who might have known was the United keeper, much as some people blame Clattenburg this wasn't really his error.Do you remember when Pedro Mendes "scored" against Man U in 2005, the ball was way over the line but it wasn't given. I mean, you agree it was actually over the line, right? I mean, there's glass half full and then there's not recognising the concept of a glass.
