Ronero’s turn with the usual post-home match rubbish this week!

It’s always just words. How many games at home have we heard the same rubbish!

Would be nice if he showed something on the pitch. May as well just stay with Argentina so he doesn’t give us his half arsed effort doing less than the bare minimum for us so he can stay fit for the World Cup.

Watch his movement and awareness (or lack thereof) for their second goal for a masterclass in primary school level defending.

So another home defeat. The THS seems to be a cursed ground, one where it seems impossible for us to win.
I pretty much hate the gaff. The nostalgia in me says it’s because I loved WHL so much but I just generally don’t like these modern football stadiums, or should I say “sporting arenas”. The high costs for fans as well just epitomises the greed of modern football and especially our board in general.

It’s a soulless bowl.

It’s too nice.

Away teams enjoy the visit and next season in the championship will be even worse as fans of clubs will see going to Spurs away like a trip to Wembley.

I wouldn't worry, once we're down the financial burden will most likely cripple us and the stadium will be sold off as an "entertainment complex".

We'll most likely end up ground sharing with the O's...

We'll end up in a ground share deal with West Ham, so that Chelsea can use The Daniel Levy Entertainment Complex, allowing them to build the most expensive stadium in the history of forever.

ENIC will need their profits toppings up, you know?

Given our matches don’t occur on the same days for home matches, perhaps the Emirates would be ideal <cheers>

A special shout out to Sarr, who is an athlete masquerading as a footballer, basically Sissoko reincarnated.

Harsh on sissoko. If a few of our players had his fight and heart to go with their better talent, we’d be in a lot better position.
Absolutely. He had his faults, but he was a real trier and made it easier for the real creative players around him. We are crying out for someone with his commitment right now.
Sarr, on the other hand, has proved a real disappointment after looking like he was going to develop into a real player. He's still young, but if he goes on to succeed it won't be with us.

Not sure what's happened with him (other than post-AFCON, obvs), as he seems to have lost the Yaya Toure-like traits he had in his earliest appearances for us

Not as easy to explain as, say, how we have several CBs more comfortable playing in a high line all sitting deep at various times

Always good to remember at times like this that we have been **** before.... <laugh>

I think if we can get that first win in the next couple then we’ll go on and get few more.

Just getting that first one over the line somehow by hook or by crook!
Admire your optimism but don’t share it

Spurs form in 2026 is beyond bad. I can’t see them going on a run of undefeated games let alone consecutive wins

Hope you can say, I told you so in May though

I just can't see where we get more than one win from. It's not just about form, it's the fact that almost everyone we play will have something to play for themselves.

I can maybe see a draw away to Sunderland who are now safe.

Brighton's season is over so maybe maybe a win at home to them.

Wolves are going down with a real fight, can't see more than a draw from that.

Villa have Europe to fight for. Loss.

Leeds probably won't yet be mathematically safe when we play them. Loss

Don't need to elaborate on Stamford Bridge.

Everton will likely be fighting for Europe. Loss

Being realistic, I can see
W1 D2 L4

For a total of 5 points.

Will that be enough? I doubt it tbh. I can see West Ham picking up 7pts and Forest 6. Of course had we beaten them, that would have been a game changer but now we're 2pts behind them.

I guess I'll make it an official prediction then:

16. Forest - 38pts
17. West Ham - 36pts
18. Tottenham - 35pts
