Well, that England game was pretty boring, but a respectable result for the young team. Great to see some debuts in a big game and not crumble!
I see Angus Gunn has been called up for the Brazil game!! Amazing. I just said to the gf “you don’t see Championship players getting called up, especially from Norwich” then said: “Oh wait, it’s coz he’s on loan from Manchester City, and that’s what matters.”
Also great to see Madders make his debut off the bench for England U21s last night! Good lad!
You’d think Josh should be knocking on the door of that team too.
Didn’t see Jacob in the squad anymore. How the mighty...

That's great for Angus. But is anyone else stunned by his call up like I am?
I was at the Derby game and thought he was really poor. Was at fault for their winner and lost his head outside the box and nearly gave away a third.
Butland's injured, Hart is crap, Heaton is injured. Must be getting short of options.
I don' think it' a bad idea. If Gunn is seen as a potential future number 1, why not give him some experience. I don't see the point in having 3 keepers all older or the same age, a bit of succession planning seems reasonable. That or as someone else highlighted he is a citeh player!

Yeah, I can rationalize the reasons for his call-up. But only after getting over my intital shock. All the best to him.
