I was at the Derby game and thought he was really poor. Was at fault for their winner and lost his head outside the box and nearly gave away a third. Butland's injured, Hart is crap, Heaton is injured. Must be getting short of options.
I don' think it' a bad idea. If Gunn is seen as a potential future number 1, why not give him some experience. I don't see the point in having 3 keepers all older or the same age, a bit of succession planning seems reasonable. That or as someone else highlighted he is a citeh player! Bah!
Yeah, I can rationalize the reasons for his call-up. But only after getting over my intital shock. All the best to him.
