Question: Is there anything to be learned about a player from fifa ratings and atributes such as "pace" or "dribbling"?

From how he plays, I can totally believe every word of this. Thank god he was strong enough, and confident enough to totally ignore them, and work harder.

I'm sure they would have said the same to Messi, when they also told him he was too small to be a professional footballer.

Inspirational talk given to NCFC players & Staff by former S.A.S Soldier & TV Presenter, wonder if the Leeds Spies managed to infiltrate this?

So I see that Sky have realised we’re worth watching with our games against Swansea, Hull and Boro picked for live Skysports television coverage. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
As usual no consideration for fans - Swansea 7.45 on Friday 8th March, Hull unchanged and Boro 17.30 at the Riverside!!!

What a bizarre, pathetic article!
Life goes on Downes, we've moved up, the binners have slumped to the foot of the table (and are showing no signs of altering that :emoticon-0116-evilg ) so let it effin lie <grr>

edit - I felt compelled to respond to the above 'article'

I went to the league cup game when he made his first return with Villa. Villa beat us 4 - 1 and PL celebrated every goal like it was a Bergcamp worldie, which infuriated me. But that was then and this is now. Grow up Steve Downes and just be content to delight in their misery at being bottom of the table (and likely to remain there until May). No need to stoke up any extra vitriol - the derby games always have a decent sprinkling of that without your childish intervention.

I can't even believe that Archangel allowed the article to be printed. Yes, PL was great for us, but he has been pretty much an abject failure wherever else he had been appointed manager.

I wouldn't boo him. As I've said before, he was good for us but was never one of us. Managers move on and usually aren't very loyal after. It's the same everywhere. Not many Dave Stringers around these days.

I watched a bizarre game on the TV today in Australia. Adelaide United were playing Brisbane Roar in Adelaide. Adelaide had a player sent off in the first 10 mins and were 3-0 down, scored just before half time via a free kick, then Brisbane contrive to have two players sent off and lose the game 4-3 in the 7th minute of stoppage time! Both teams were rubbish and brilliant at the same time!
