Question: Is there anything to be learned about a player from fifa ratings and atributes such as "pace" or "dribbling"?
Me too. A first game against a team like Bolton should give him a chance to blend in with his new team (I hope).
From how he plays, I can totally believe every word of this. Thank god he was strong enough, and confident enough to totally ignore them, and work harder. I'm sure they would have said the same to Messi, when they also told him he was too small to be a professional footballer.
If there was any Norwich player to back him up and give him advice: Sometimes the world just ticks over perfectly.
And I wonder who was an NCFC youth Coach until SW arrived???? Edit - did I just see that Newcastle beat Citeh???? PS - Basil scores a penalty!!!!
The Norwich poppy shirts worn at the Millwall win are up for grabs if you're quick. Proceeds to Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2019/january/norwich-city-shirts-sky-bet-poppy-action-millwall/
Inspirational talk given to NCFC players & Staff by former S.A.S Soldier & TV Presenter, wonder if the Leeds Spies managed to infiltrate this?
The U23's getting a look in for these videos is a rarity, right? Nice of the club to do it though, just helps add to that "One club United" feeling.
And it's only a season ago that putting one of these "best goals" videos together was a bit of a struggle. How far we've come.
So I see that Sky have realised we’re worth watching with our games against Swansea, Hull and Boro picked for live Skysports television coverage. As usual no consideration for fans - Swansea 7.45 on Friday 8th March, Hull unchanged and Boro 17.30 at the Riverside!!!
What a bizarre, pathetic article! Life goes on Downes, we've moved up, the binners have slumped to the foot of the table (and are showing no signs of altering that ) so let it effin lie https://www.edp24.co.uk/features/should-we-boo-ipswich-s-paul-lambert-against-norwich-city-1-5876644 edit - I felt compelled to respond to the above 'article'
I can't even believe that Archangel allowed the article to be printed. Yes, PL was great for us, but he has been pretty much an abject failure wherever else he had been appointed manager. #pleasedontboo
I wouldn't boo him. As I've said before, he was good for us but was never one of us. Managers move on and usually aren't very loyal after. It's the same everywhere. Not many Dave Stringers around these days.
I watched a bizarre game on the TV today in Australia. Adelaide United were playing Brisbane Roar in Adelaide. Adelaide had a player sent off in the first 10 mins and were 3-0 down, scored just before half time via a free kick, then Brisbane contrive to have two players sent off and lose the game 4-3 in the 7th minute of stoppage time! Both teams were rubbish and brilliant at the same time!
No screen grab, I'm afraid, but I just saw a large flag, canary logo to the fore, from Dickleburgh at the test in Antigua
