I think we had of the strongest squads in the league, but through sales and flooding it with lower league German imports I think we have seriously diluted the talent in our squad. It would be improved vastly by a fully fit Pinto, Klose and Prichard. Still, I don't know if we have a top 6 squad anymore, let alone one of the best in the league. Clubs have come down strong, and rivals who haven't been in the Premiership have still managed to bring in class players. I'm also not sure of the managers abilities just yet. He talks the talk, but so did Alex Neil.

Fair comment re the 'German imports' FML, but a couple of the things that I've noticed that was sadly lacking last year -
a. We are playing with passion
b. The players look fitter (several late goals so far this season!!)

Oh! and the pedant in me would like to remind you that DF is a HEAD COACH and NOT a manager!!!! <sorry>

While the sending off is ridiculous I am pleased Citeh won. Bournemouth wouldn't be anywhere near the PL without all that money FFP my arse, hope they get relegated by Christmas <grr>
 
Ouch....Poor lad....

Hopefully all those hundreds of millions will help his pride recover.
