That's OK - I'm going anyway and the pub also does Thai food at sensible prices, so I'll go and make a day out of it sometime, as I love Oakham beers!! <cheers>

Did you see that bottle of Blind Pig that I posted on the Beer and Chips thread?

Cider with notes of whisky, honey and apple?

Very tasty and very cheap in Tesco!

Definitely getting a ticket for the FA Cup game against Saints!!! <ok>

I'll give it a try Dave.

Both of them never had anywhere near the potential of Redmond. Who sat on the bench for so many games as we rapidly plummeted down. Then when he played, the fans booed him....
Many managers are the same, they have their 'faves' who must play virtually every week.
Neil is no better or worse than Hughton in that regard.
Surely if you have an asset / livewire, whatever, you try and mould a team around him, or them (if you're lucky to have more than one).
I just hope Pritchard doesn't end up being NCFC's next 'Redmond' <ok>

Should be an interesting game tomrrow night in the Checkatrade Trophy - Jarvis, Klose, Canos and Jo Murphy all expected to start.
"Alongside Jarvis, defenders Steven Whittaker and Timm Klose and midfielders Youssouf Mulumbu, Sergi Canos and Josh Murphy are also in line to be included against the Swans. Under competition rules, invited Category One Academy teams such as the Canaries are required to field six Under-21 players in their starting eleven."

Weather those two are on a par with Zlatan, Pogba and Rooney or not (I think they're both better) they are looking at the market rate and thinking right now we're on 50% of that rate we are being offered 80%. Maybe I should look elsewhere. I think if you or I were in a job that was paying below market rate, be that 50% or 80% we'd at least be looking at our options. If someone offered me a 20 or 50% rise to move company for the same job. Would I go? Like hell I would. OK it is gready, but put yourself in their position, you have a viperous leach representing you to get this extra wedge, you let him do his thing. Afterall with the latest TV deal if not the players then it is the clubs that will be coining it and gone are the days of any loyalty. Can't blame them for negotiating hard, that said it is out of order who ever is leaking said negotiations to the press.

Quote of the week from our erstwhile manager - “What I want to do is get my team right and win games. It is difficult. I have had real success over a short space of time in management, in terms of two promotions, but when you are doing the same type of things that are no longer bringing success and it isn’t working that is frustrating.”

Yes AN - Get the team right and omit your favourites. Look at the difference it made on Saturday!!!!
