Hate to think what Chelsea and Liverpool would do to us with our defence, they look so good this season.
Exactly - they are scoring for fun. OK, Liverpool may be weak defensively, but does it matter and I can't imagine many Liverpool fans are concerned. I can't believe SKY - they've put our game V Brentford away on at 5.30 on 'Old Year's Night', at the same time as Liverpool host Man City!!! I know which game I'd rather watch!!!!! Edit - I've just looked at Livepool's games in January - Man Utd V Liverpool Sun 15 Jan 16:00 Liverpool V Swansea Sat 21 Jan 12:30 Liverpool V Chelsea Tue 31 Jan 20.00 #definingmonth
Perhaps they now can see it wasn't Gary Monk who needed to be sacked, but the majority of their players! Wonder if NCFC will make the same mistake?
We already are Dave - the effort put in by most of our players indicate that they can't be bothered and week in, week out we are out worked by teams who, in theory, have less quality than our squad but overcompensate by working hard, working as a team and collectively showing passion, commitment and spirit.
To give myself a break from watching the dross served up by the first team each week, I've got a ticket for the Checkatrade game V MK Dons tomorrow night (we've already guaranteed to progress to the knock out stages) - http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/norwich-city-mk-dons-efl-trophy-3398255.aspx and I've also got a ticket to watch the Under 23s in the Premier League International Cup game V Celtic next Wednesday.
Oooh, I wonder if that little 13 year old Dembele would play any part of that game. He'd be exciting to see live!
Plenty of tickets available and they're FREE if you go to one of their shops in Castle Mall or Chapelfield.
Anyone else going to the game V MK Dons this evening. Looking forward to seeing some attacking football and hopefully a few good goals for the home team. I expect the likes of Sergi, Josh and Ben to be in the starting lineup, along with one or two from the first team squad. http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...ut_to_raise_spirits_against_mk_dons_1_4766409
For anyone not able to go, there's coverage on radio Norfolk from around 7 p.m, but, for some bizarre contractual reasons, not online. Dean Ashton summarising.
Any accountants, number-crunchers or stats gurus out there? This will keep you going over that mid morning coffee (you might need a double espresso to stay awake until the end!). A review of the club's last declared accounts. http://swissramble.blogspot.co.uk/2016/11/norwich-city-lightning-strikes-not-once.html
A transcript of the usual Q & A session with Paddy D and Michael B. Quite a big file, lots of people, unsurprisingly had lots to say http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/the_norwich_city_debate_your_questions_answered_1_4765516
Interesting article on the attendances, player eligibility, etc of this ill thought out checktrade tournament. Yes, NCFC get a mention but not in a positive light particularly. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ophy-football-league-failure?CMP=share_btn_tw
