I don't really blame Wet Sham, they have taken advantage of the utter incompetence of the Olympic organisers. How can it be that there was no proper plan in place for the stadiums use after the event? After so many other olympic structures in former host cities fell into disuse and disrepair, we surely had to think ahead? A little forethought and they could have planned the switch to a football stadium with a clear plan of how to convert it and who for and what cost with plans in place at the building stage. This ridiculous over spend is a disgrace and should so easily been prevented. Blood hell, they could have tendered for the stadium before it was built and made the club contribute to its construction costs! Isn't it the stadium owners that insist on their own security? I mean Wet sham should volenteer some funds to beef it up, but this is still incompetence being taken advantage of. I don't think you can blame WH for driving a hard bargain or taking advantage of the incompetent fools running the staduim? Bah!
And on that note:- Pete O'Rourke @SportsPeteO The boss of the London Stadium has resigned after an inquiry was opened into the soaring costs to the taxpayer to run the venue.
No trolling here, honest guv! But fans who would like to see a major change in the boardroom any time soon - don't even bother reading this, it'll be too depressing. But for ignored member and RBF, music to your ears, no doubt http://www.pinkun.com/home/delia_sm...ex_neil_to_the_hilt_at_norwich_city_1_4764064
OH well, I suspected that might be the case and I'm sure ILD and KIO won't be too impressed either. Fair play though, they make some good points though regarding the fans - "They book their hotel rooms and get cheap prices for their travel tickets in advance. Bang. Oh, that game’s not on that day any more. "
