Not really mate, people didn't have to vote for Labour, but they did.

I don't believe the Tories will do as well as the exit polls predict tbh.

They've been absolutely battered tonight, whichever way you put it.
Nah mate. The media covers tories or labour only. See the stupid debates. See the papers. See this thread. It is one or the other, unless you are really interested in what parties promise, and I mean without bias. So many people have talked about tactical voting. Lets see. If Reform havent been a wildcard I will be surprised.

If people were so biased, and set in their ways, either the Tories last time or Labour this time wouldn't have such landslides.

It looks like the Conservative party has split in two. Reform seem to have had votes on an unprecedented level.

Looking at the Hunt and Mordaunt seats, the Lib Dems and Labour have gained a few percentage points but it's the collapse in the Tory vote with Reform taking 20%+ that has potentially won them the seats.
If they have the vote share predicted then it will need to be a party and a belief system that needs to be tackled. It will be an awful outcome to be honest.

I was referring to all parties other than those 2! There are even rules about how little coverage the 3rd party and below are entitled to. We allow a 2 party domination and that impacts votes.

Dunno mate, the Liberals have had loads of coverage and have done quite well.

All the leaders have been on Question Time or various debates and interviews.

I don't think people are as gullible as you seem to tbh.

It sounds like they're the 3rd best supported party in the country in terms of vote percentage.

I'd hope that a common sense approach to immigration from Labour will quieten a lot of that down. The Tories deliberately putting it front and centre backfired spectacularly.

They certainly had a common sense approach the last time they were in government :emoticon-0102-bigsm
