I can't stand Farage. I ****ing loathe the ****. There are few places in the world I would like to be in less than that pub in that moment. I can practically smell the lynx body spray and the erectile disfunction medicine from 10,000 miles away.
But I agree with what Alco is saying to an extent. Farage at very least pretends to understand and represent a segment of society. Sunak and Starmer represent no one. They represent their parties, sure. They represent a vague, difficult to understand and quite abstract vision they have for the country but they will put away once elected.
The main parties would be well served taking a lesson from Farage, he has a vision and he will stand by that vision. I applaud him for having the nerve to put his flag in the ground and say this is what I am, this is what I stand for.
It's a shame that I find him and his vision grotesque.
