I cant think of a better definition of the term 'kicking a man whilst he's down.'

'So Mr Smeaton, how was it that you come to win the Queen's Gallantry Medal?'
'Well there was this bloke on fire.........so I kicked him in the bollocks!'

It would be nice to think that he kicked the bastard so hard in the nads that he choked on them! Sadly that didn't happen!

His bollocks were probably the only part of him that didn't suffer 3rd degree burns after he had finished with them. The fact that they were heavily ruptured however, I bet they were still the part of his body where the most pain was being generated. I can imagine him on a hospital bed, completely wrapped head to toe in bandages, and him still whimpering meekly, barely audible, under his breath.......'me bollocks!'

I've just read on the Beeb website that a young mother, picnicking with her 3 young children last night and playing by the river drowned last night in front of her kids, whilst going to help someone else in distress.

Those poor kids.

We were out with friends in a restaurant, just behind the rowing club, and having a wonderful evening, about 100 yards away while all that was going on. Never heard a thing.

Awful. Just awful.

A lady drowned in Bedford yesterday Blunham, is this the same person. Very sad news.

Sounds like a lone gunman, in Germany. Apparently his body has been found, he shot himself.

I don't think this has anything to do with islamic terrorism.

Everything that happens these days will be an act of islamic terrorism until its shown not to be.

Thats just the way its gonna be from now on, for a long time.

Shootings in Germany. Trouble throughout the world. And for 2 days Sky news have an article on their first page.

Prince George gives his dog a lick of his ice cream. The RSPCA is concerned.<laugh> ffs

Nowt like priorities in the world of the media.

The Germans have shown the way these incidents should be handled regardless of the tragedy it became. The original reported three gunmen turned out to be a teenager with issues. No broadcast hysteria, no making suspicions into facts within minutes, and closing the incident down rather than have gun-toting police flying all over the place.

Anybody going to the airshow?
Traffic will be ****ing chaos what with Wessington Way & Riverside Road both being half shut.
Roads on the sea front closed to traffic, pubs & cafes heaving.
