Had a great morning in London.

In aid of CRY, Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Seeing loads of people with pictures of children, lost to sudden death, on their shirts was very poignant.

Walking across 7 bridges from Tower Bridge upriver and then back. About 6/7 miles. Some fantastic views and landmarks along that stretch of river.

12 children die every week in the UK suddenly mate. Their heart just stops beating. Not many people are aware of that.

My wife's brother has lost 2 children in the last 5 years. I'd have done myself in already if that was me.

CRY raises money for research into this problem and also provides bereavement counselling for families who've lost a young one.

That's shocking mate, is it hereditary then or has your brother in law just had some very bad luck?

Great cause mate, I'll be happy to donate a few quid if you have a link.

Cheers mate. Appreciate the sentiment.

I could have posted it on here but I'm daft. I don't like asking people for money. I'd rather whack in a couple of hundred myself than ask others for money.

I've just had some stick back in the local for the same thing.

I'm still wearing the t-shirt and loads of lads are saying why the **** didn't I say anything.

I now like to go through life like the SAS. No one knows I was there.

I was a **** a long time ago. I live quietly now.

Don't keep things too quiet mate, you're raising awareness most importantly <ok>

You're a good egg.

Cheers mate. It is a good cause. But there are so many good causes which makes it awkward to ask.

I won pretty well at Ascot last week, so most of it will go to CRY.

There's a big party in the village pub garden today.

One of the lads said to me, we could have done the same thing for us.

Never occurred to me.

We'll do it next year. That'll raise a few grand.

I'll get the wife to do it. They love her down there.

I'll stay in the background.
