Off to LEGOLAND tomorrow with the daughter and grandkids.
Normal entry price is £54.40 per adult and £46.20 per child, 4 adults and 2 kids going so ordinarily it would have been bloody expensive!!!
Plus add on the usual £5 parking fee each for 2 cars adds insult to the entry fee as well.
Fortunately for us my wife works for John Lewis or Waitrose and we have got a massive discount as John Lewis have rented the park from 6.00 in the evening till closing, we cant get in till 11.00 in the morning but ticket prices have been slashed to £10 each.
Absolute bargain, the wife and grandkids cant wait.......i can
Anywhere else you can think of that is way over priced?
we go cheap nights on discounted tickets and only go if its a "big screen" film. The Cinema... £11.50 per ticket (unless it's 2 for Tuesdays) then £13 for a large popcorn and a big gulp, then £8 on sweets, then another £5.50 on the 2nd big gulp cos the popcorn is too salty.
£50 or thereabouts for a bloody film. It's ****ing cheaper to eat out in a restaurant (on a Tuesday) and then go to the cinema and not order the snacks.

We don't buy any **** from the cinema either, we buy at a supermarket and take it in, lot cheaper.
i like the terminology, but must confess to not knowing what joys are to be eaten from inside a tramps sock.Pick n Mix from the supermarket is like turning a tramp's sock inside out and eating whatever falls out.
We only go once or twice a year mind, so it's not that much of a biggie.

We used to do the popcorn stuff until it got so expensive, it does add to the "cinema experience" if you're not bothered about the costs.
Bet you would get a strong flavoursome drink if you were to boil the tramps socks up, not going anywhere near the underwear department on this topic. You should try it, it's a delicacy!

This man has been arrested. He should have been took round the back of the pub and set on fire, but not arrested.

I've started a thread about it, mate. I've made it clear what I wish the public had of done to him.He deserves whatever he got and whatever is coming to him, he's not exercising his right to free speech, he's being a ****ing **** and thinking he's funny and a billy big bollocks. Plenty of folk would ask no questions, they'd have just stuck a glass in his face, he should count himself lucky he didn't come across one of them.
Few music people on here.
Dave Swarbrick?
He's deed now.
Folk music. Fairport convention?
