One of my sponsors is fighting at the Stadium Of Light in July. If anybody is going to it, I'll be there if you fancy a pint.

I see the spire bridge has been delayed until the summer. :emoticon-0114-dull:

Bad weather to blame. Im surprised any bridges get built in time in scotland then.

Hi All. Some of you know I've been through the mill recently. Was told I have stomach cancer 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Just wanted to share the great news I've received this morning that my final examination was great, its localized and after chemo and drastic surgery (losing my stomach) I'll be alive and kicking at the end of it!!

Got some happy kids out there right now!!!

Great to hear the end result is so good!

Hopefully I will be feeling the same in a month or so time. After overcoming breast cancer and being giving the NED decision last year, going on to have 2 knee replacements, I was diagnosed with melanoma in January. After treatment, and going for my first 3 monthly check up, they found a further 2 suspicious moles which I have to have excised beginning July. Keeping everything crossed and hope your are having a fab celebration with your family. x

Thanks for the kind words guys. I really appreciate it.

This place has been a wonderful distraction the last few weeks!

Hi Fenton. Thank you for your kind words and I hope with all the love and hope I've received from my friends and family the last few weeks that you come through this with flying colours as well.

I'm well known in my circle for not being religious. And I'm married to a muslim with a muslim daughter!!

But I've had so many people of all religions praying for me inspite of them knowing I'm a heretical infidel I've been just overwhelmed with their love and care for me.

If I could physically pass this on to you petal I would!

Best wishes from me and mine to you and yours and please let us all know how you get on, when you're ready to.
