Size of this ugly **** on my garden gate. Looks like a sparrow mated with a moth.

My first chemo session today at Bedford Hospital.

The place is amazing and the staff even more so!!

I'm NHS as well so I was stunned to hear the pay grades that these guys are on, and not a little embarrassed or ashamed if I'm absolutely honest!

These guys are the front line troops on what must be a heart-rending place at times. But each and every one on here is amazing!

Different ward, different staff. Different treatment.

Different attitude. Shocked and disgusted by one patrticular consultant.

Went down to sea the ships last night, it could have been better planned, but not a bad shot despite that, love the age of sail and the smaller wooden boats..

I have been to Newcastle on all 3 Tall Ship visits and to the one down at Hartlepool a few years back, and have enjoyed all five, what was new here, were the 2 hour trips out to sea under sail on the herring hunters Wylde Swan and Morgenster both class A ships and very fast, the former being a largest two mast topsail schooner in the world and a fine looker to boot, to see her coming through the piers and tying up at the end of the Corporation Quay as a firework display provided the back drop was a treat, you would have loved it mate, no question. Also the six smaller ships tied alongside the Uni and NGC with Wearmouth Bridge in the background is another memorable sight, and reminded me of the days when the river was full of ships and the best looking fleet of tugs anywhere in the world, no bias here of course. Anyway Burly keep on keeping on, you are one of the ones pal and in our thoughts. <ok>
