Maybe he'll stay around playing first team football for the next few years and Saints will get into Europe. Bit of a dream but we're led to believe this is Cortese's ambition and that's the plan he's sold to the new signings.
I know it's rare in sport for someone or a team to upset the odds but im an athletics fan and remember when Linford Christie said he was going to get Olympic gold in the 100m. Seemed like no one but Christie thought he'd win but against the odds that's exactly what he did. Could the next few years be our Linford Christie moment

I find it amusing to read the views of so many delusional people. I would not call them fans as many of them clearly are not. (I do not include the Pompey fans that regularly frequent here in this category as the majority of them appear to be sane, just from the wrong side of 'ampsher.

Well Bologna is hardly a massive club. We offered him a considerable pay rise and a chance to play in the Premier League. I'm sure he has ambitions to play in the Champions League one day though, because he's clearly going to be good enough.
How's that working out for you?
