I'd say he was a good servant to the Club, but legend? No.
Leon was a Legend, Trunds too!...............................
He will go down as a Swansea great but legend, no.
His block at Wembley was legendary though.
Agree with Phil re Leon and Trunds, but I include Rangel and Tate as the other legends of the last 2 decades too
Truth is, we try and categorise but anyone who plays 200 plus games for any side should always be recognised.
I think people are to quick to name people legends at clubs, because as quite rightly said due to the number of games he played. I think some people forget certain players, like Nick Cussacks role played when Petty sacked players and the work he did at that time. Gary monk, tidy player, good centre half, legend, definitely not.
Cusack was left high and dry and at the time thrown into the deep end how he managed to keep us afloat in terms of playing staff was nothing short of miraculous but without results on the field he was doomed to fail , any resemblance to what's happening now is purely co incidence
