His oil rig broke free of it's fetters and floated down to the Gulf of Aden where he was shanghaied by Somalian Pirates, he was brutally gang raped on a daily basis and the Somalians eventually paid Shell to take him back.

Best holiday in years though. Felt refreshed after it, hope the blood tests go alright....

When Liverpool came to Lincoln City for a pre-season friendly and announced it would be the reserves with maybe a cameo here and there they didn't sell their full allocation. Celtic cam this year and again Lennon announced it would be the reserves with maybe a cameo. Celtic sold all their allocation and Lincoln then gave them more tickets. 4000 fans came all the way from Glasgow to support their reserve side!!!!

That is the mark of a very big club.

Won't go into why only half of them made it into the ground. The City centre was a bit of a mess though. lol Still it's money in the bank for the Imps whether they actually sit in the seats they paid for or not.

If Saints arranged a friendly with a smaller club say Lincoln, and announced that they were only playing their reserves, Saints would not sell many tickets at all even though they are nearer.

Not trying to make excuses but some of the younger members of our club haven't memories of nights like the Celtic night winning the European Cup. Or even how intense the games have been over the decades when Celtic have met English top division clubs in hard fought encounters with results going both ways. I might even add that I believe you are the most famous Scottish club through your past exploits in Europe.

Every game against Celtic in European games is of the utmost interest with the bragging rights going to the winners. If the Hoops were of no importance then surely it would matter much less to their English Club opponents.

We have a lot more money in English football due to Sky. That doesn't, to me, make us bigger than them.

After almost folding and becoming a past memory we were saved and have since become relatively successful. I say relatively because we are still only a Championship club. Some take our re-emergence as a sign of our greatness but we still have a darn long way to go as of yet. A lot of the highly irritating comments I think stem from being overly positive and forgetting how bad we were not that long ago. Doing well in the third tier and now so far in the second does not for me equal being top of your countries pile.

Us trying to buy someone like Hooper is not a simple shout. He is playing well for a team that is leading the race to become champions. We are leading the race to join our top league. He may get more money if he comes south but money is not always the foremost thought on a serious players mind.

My wish is that we succeed in prising him from you Hoops but whichever way it goes won't make him any different as a player or a man. The fact that I believe he could do better with us is my own personal feeling. I believe that he would improve our team and thus would help us gain access to the top tier. We need him more than he needs us right now even though as said, I believe the move would be good for him.

So whatever happens I wish you Hoops win the title as well as I wish us to become Championship winners.
