Did you beat Udinese at home?

Yes, the away draw at Udinese was good, the defeat against St Johnstone was also good. <ok>

Actually Hooper's on his way, I don't personally want him having seen him play for Grays Athletic, but people seem to be weeing their pants at the thought, so hey ho.

Hooiveld, Hooper, anymore 'H's'?

Celtic, Southampton's feeder club.

The only Lions in Lisbon are Sporting Lisbon and the Lions in the Zoo.

Oh dear, check your history mate, a great team with great players. Saints will be doing very well in coming anywhere near to emulating them in the future, beating Inter in the final of todays equivalent of the european cup COYS

BTW Jos Hooiveld, a great signing <ok>

So you buying our 6th or 7th choice centre-back makes us your feeder club? <laugh><doh>

I suppose we must also be St Mirren's feeder club because they took our fifth choice striker.

The defeat against st Johnstone was very good !!! That was in August , Celtic at moment have the best young squad in Britain, average Age of our team is just over 22 and as another poster said went to the team top pf the Italian league and played them off the park .talking about bad results how did you get on against Bristol city or Brighton recently ????

I know my history. That Celtic team shouldn't of been called Lisbon Lions,as Sporting Clube de Portugal's nickname is "Leoes" or Lions in english.

"As Southampton's feeder club, we will shortly be sending them our 1st choice striker"

John Lennon - Manager Celtic Phudball Club.

What the **** is up with the constant bitching of each others clubs. We are interested in Hooper and had two bids rejected and may make a 3rd it's simple as that. No need to keep on trying to put either Southampton or Celtic down.

cross board threads tend to deteriorate into bitch-fests so that isn't unusual, best to ignore the one or two ****wits who make petty jibes

We're not getting Hooper...let's move onto someone we might get. We are top of the league with the players we have and have signed a new striker and got the loan of a promising midfielder. Not bad business..would like another but sure we'll be fine with what we've got. Good luck to Celtic for rest of season..they let us have Jos after all.

<laugh> Southampton are a diddy team that mean **** all in terms of global football.

Ask any Barcelona, Bayern Munich, AC Milan fan who Celtic are and they'll tell you in a second.

Ask them who Southampton are and they'll give you a vacant stare then reply with one of the following words: "Que?" "Wer?" and "Chi?"

When they've stopped laughing they will.

You let a good defender go...

I've nothing against Hooiveld, and best of luck to him - he never got much of a run of games up here. But it should be said that he looked pretty ropey when he did play (particularly in european games) and it hardly reflects well on him that he was deemed to be behind the five centre-halfs (Rogne, Mulgrew, Majstorovic, Wilson, Loovens) in our current squad - an area which I think all celtic fans would say is probably our weakest area.

So best for all parties. Hooiveld was unlikely to get a game here, he wanted to play regularly, you needed a centre back, we got rid of someone off the wage bill. Everyone's happy. Apparently that make us your 'feeder club'...<laugh>

Jos suited us and we suited him. Not unusual for a player to be better at one team than at another. Also he probably needed a move for his confidence. He remarked once that when he made a mistake there was no moaning from the crowd. I think that once you lose the crowd it's hard to get them back...look at Puncheon. Jos had a clean sheet here and could start again.
