I really really really think everyone has been blinded to Garridos obvious inadequacies because of his decent start. For me he is not good enough. Perhaps we should keep him if he is cheap but only as cover. Id rather have Whittaker or Naughton than Garrido anytime! I think if we let Tierney go and buy Garrido, we still need someone better to take the LB slot. Garrido is slow, gets caught out of position and is very poor going forward. Anyone who says "what about his crossing ablity?" Ask yourselves, when did he last produce a good cross that led to anything? Then before that when was the last time? Hugh gaps in between id wager. He is a cover standard LB at best.
I think people got a bit carried away at the beginning of his loan. I think he gets beaten a bit easily, isn't always in the right position and doesn't use his crossing which is his strength nearly enough. Think Whittaker is a more tidy player who seems to get involved in the game a lot better than garrido.

Billy pretty much said what I said in fewer words lol Bottom line is, Garrido probably is good enough to be a premier league starting LB but can do a job as back up.
