First time i've ever agreed with you TWF, what the **** are you on about Tickler? You been chatting to them idiots on the Hull City facebook site?
What I've just realised is great is that there's people criticising the decision to sack Barmby and saying even the players agree, that are also saying the players still don't know why exactly he was sacked and that's a disgrace as well. You can't have it both ways, people can't disagree with something if they don't know what it is so either the players know and you can use them to support it being a wrong decision but you can't then complain they haven't been told anything, or they don't know anything and you can complain they've not been told but you can't then say they're right in saying the decision was wrong.
You're kidding me! You'd get sacked just for blowing the chance of getting a £60 million pound deal for your company and then calling the MD a liar? How unreasonable!
People have been disagreeing and complaining about stuff they nothing about all week! Admit it, typing that out Ricardo took ages and made your brain hurt!
I was going on what the players have been tweeting. Garcia for instance says he thinks it is a bad day for the club or something like that and then in another tweet said the first they knew about it was on Monday when listening to the radio. I really don't know what your point is. They don't agree with sacking him but that doesn't mean they know why he has been sacked, they are just gutted to see him go this way.
Well I really hope the truth does come out soon but then some people on here will not believe anything bad about the Allams because they have put money into the club. I have said it many times but my gut instincts have been telling me for ages there is something not quite right. Tickler is it just your instincts or do you actually know something.
If the best thing people can say about the Allams is "They paid £51m so they can do what they like." Then the situation obviously isn't very good, if that's the best thing that can be said in support of them.
Well the evidence so far would lean towards it being so. But i hope it isn't. If i had the Allams money and had done what they have done in saving Hull City AFC, one thing i would not do is try and run it myself. I would put in in the hands of people who have been involved in football for years and know the workings of the game. Thats what the Allams should have done imo. ffs, Adam had one year left on his agreement and both he and Nick should have been given that year. Then assess and make changes if required.
Erm.......Nope. Dont use facebook thank you. For your benefit and TWF,, the events of the last week and the reasons the Allams have given for them. Whatever happened to free speach and ones own opinion without any comeback ? The FA, Allams to name but 2 come down hard on anyone who speaks out. Thats what i mean.
Agree with you ^^^^ this. My gut instincts Yes and Yes Mrs T. knows people who work for AllamMarine. Lets just leave it like that for now. In noway should Nick have been sacked from whats been said so far. There has to be something that has not come out yet behind all this. Until Adam and Nick can speak openly we shall never know.
I'm pretty sure that, as all this was unfolding, Tickler, you said something like "Trust the Allams" I could be wrong....
This is what gets me too, totally, the money doesn't mean they can do whatever they want or it shouldn't do. Maybe not getting the KC has made them show their true colours
I think it is just a simple case of they have built up their own business, they have complete control over it and seeing as they own the club now they do not like the idea of trusting other people to run it, they have been successful in the business world by doing things their way and want Hull City to be run their way as well. Good thing or bad thing we will find out in the coming months.
After some days of reflection I am sure of a few things in the AP and NB saga. In terms of Adam I believe the Allams had a number of issues with him: (i) his role and conflict of interest as owner of Hull FC (emailing city season passes holders of tickerts to FC matches for eg) - I was astounded he bought into RL (which is in a very poor state at the moment) believing it must have been a ploy of the Allams to take total control of matters at the KC. (ii) His role as Director of Football (or whatever title it is) and the blame in part for the lack of inward movement in the January transfer window (if the Allams are to be believed) when money was allegedly made available to buy a Billy Sharp or fund a PL loanee (iii) His worth to the Club on probably a high salary on what now turns out to be a consultancy basis. As for Nick I believe his sacking on the basis of being disloyal to the Club and questioniong the credentials of the owners, is only a small part of the reason he was dismissed. I believe it was more about his management skills (in dealing with the media for eg), coupled with some of the performances of the team (particularly Portsmouth away, the 5 game losing run in March and some tepid displays at the KC), that brought the Allams to the conclusion that Nicky wasn't the right man for the job. Might be wrong.
If sacking Nick was more about his management skills then why didn't they just say so. It would have been so much easier for everyone to handle and saved a whole lot of bother. Everyone is used to managers being sacked because the team doesn't perform.
