You have to say that's magnificent.

Fringe players all stepping up to the plate and giving a great TEAM performance despite unfamiliarity and rustiness.

Many,many more positives than negatives.

Great to see so many players banging in the pens and under pressure.

Well done to all who travelled down from Hull.

Now let's focus on beating the geordies on Saturday with our first team.

HCFC OK

The games at Spurs have shown that we have the strength in depth to compete at this level whatever team we put out. Hopefully Elmo's luck will turn against his old club on Saturday!

Another amazing performance. After getting the run around in the first 20 minutes I thought it was going to be a cricket score. But the lads dug in and showed fantastic spirit. Are we going to have anyone left with the legs to go a full 90 on Saturday though other than Livermore. Davies Rosenior and Elmo of the first teamers have all played the full 90 in the two Spurs games. Thudd should be ok, plus Harper, Figueroa, and Faye (if healthy). How did Sunderland get away with postponing their LC game for a week????

Just returned from a business trip to Africa, 2 City shirts spotted in Ghana, 2 in Cote D'Ivoire and one in Benin. Not yet as many as Chelsea and Arsenal yet, but we seem to be gathing some support over there.

Delighted for Prossie though.. showed guts with the pen to make it sudden-death.. should banish a few demons..

The healing power of a successful penalty?
It might help a bit. Unless the problem is not mental but just that he's not good enough.

You know why those City shirts are appearing? It can only be the talk of the name change to Hull Tigers. Think how many millions of shirts will be sold when it actually happens.

This despite there not being any tigers where you've just been in Africa.

I wonder if Mr Allam has considered dual names? Hull Tigers for the Asian market and Hull Lions for the African market.

Prossie is capable of running up to a static ball, with no one around him trying to stop him, and can score against a goalie way past his prime. Even in L2 I'd expect a striker to have done that last night. I agree it was well taken, but I'd expect no less.

Sadly the rest of the game he's totally out of his depth and is not good enough.
