I just can't help but think the ball playing centre back is sometimes a bit of a luxury in the Championship... Leicester are pretty no-nonsense with Huth and Morgan able to command the area against the wide ball - providing we have someone to sit in front of the back 4 and break up the more direct attacks (a lesser Kante if you like) I'd be inclined to go for the Clint style player - so probably a no, but ultimately dependent on what is available and at what price and whether JFC thinks he can get them playing a bit more pragmatically.
With CBs it's all about getting the partnership right. When Angella and Hall together had a decent run in the team recently there were signs that they were really striking up a good understanding. Since then we've had to improvise a bit to cover injuries and he's not looked as strong. So, a bit of a gamble but overall I think he's about right for a Championship team.
