No I'm starting ay 4th and then looking at the general direction. I'm also watching and I can see this side is nowhere near as good as back then.

The sides are different every year and you play different fixtures, so the comparison you're looking at is like comparing chocolate bars melting on different days in different weather conditions.

I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Not at all.... love the fudge punn

The only way that comparison works is if the fixtures are in the same order every year.

It's therefore only league position over a full season that's a yardstick of any description.

Performances are opinion and my opinion is teh side is nowhere near the season we finished 4th.. I think you all know that tbh.

But then for some reason you decided to compare this season to those, despite the fact we're doing better now than we were at this point in those seasons.

You then try to make out you can't compare between seasons which is rubbish; literally every team will be comparing their performance now to at this point after 5 games last season.

I don't know how many times I need to explain this tbh..your comparison is absolutely useless.

The only comparison I've made is overall league position..

Which is pure and utter speculation as we are only 5 games into this season.
