It sounded like they turned the crowd volume up to fill in the silence, luckily for ITV there were no rude chants![]()
That's because they wasn't CAFC fans![]()

.The Sunday Times made Stockdale MoM which is fair enough. Interestingly, they thought Solly was our WORST player, only getting 5 when the other players got 6 and 7s!
Oh, and the front page of the sports section has alarge picture of Paul Benson celebrating his goal...
The mirror mentioned Pritchard as being impressive.
Who did they have as our best player?
The MoS picked out Bradley Pritchard for special praise.
Very amusing comments about Danny Murphy's less than enthusiastic reception from the Charlton supporters as well.
Charlton coverage is always good in the Sunday Mirror.
No comrade - The Middle-Class on Sunday - reading it in a coffee shop while having a leisurely latte on my bike ride this morning...![]()

The Daily mirror made Pritchard the worst player on the pitch with a "5"! Mind you the whole report was merely an interview with Dempsey, so he probably wasn't there. He gave Stockdale 6, Solly 6 and Frei(who didn't get past Solly all match) 7, among others. The mirror mentioned Pritchard as being impressive.

Page 4 of the Mania section.Sorry, it would have been Mirror on sunday. Didn't see the rating, but in his write up he praised Pritchard. Where was it in the paper today - I couldn't find it oddly enough?
Am I the only one who thought Pritchard was the weakest player of ours on the pitch? Not that he performed poorly, he just didn't perform anywhere near as well as the rest of the side. Similarly, I thought Wiggins was a bit dissappointing, our main threat from the left seemed to come from Jackson, which is unusual as he usually holds off and allows Wiggins to make the most of his pace and crossing.
