He is a strong lad and some of his tackles were crunching but his headers passes etc were straight to the oppos

1. De wijs - have to say he Mitrovic in his pocket so much that he reminded me of Tabat from DPQR with the amount of hissy fit he was throwing .. then when we reverted to a 3 man back four De Wijs suddenly became our threat down the left.
2. Eaves - often isolated chasing lost causes but I do like this bloke .. there were times when he was the only one trying to press and harry their defenders while the like of Grosicki just stood and watched.
3. DE silva - pick of a poor midfield today .. but was like the rest guilty of wasting possession at times.
Special note .. if a player doesnt look interested .. or cant be arsed to put a shift in .. then get him off mr McCann .. we know Grosicki has ability but it shouldn't only appear every other 5 games for 20 minutes, the lad has so much natural ability yet disappears too often.

Sorry Chazz. I don't normally comment on other posters opinions but I have to disagree. Yes Pennington did make some errant passes, like Lopes and others, but his all round game was good. Nine of the 13 Hull voters on here had him in their top 3, several in top position. To call his performance "gash" is baffling.
