Don't need to fill the car up but need petrol for the lawnmower. Don't want to go to fill the container up as it looks like you are one lof those twats filling their car up and Jerry cans as well.

Reactions: PLT and Charon
Ive just driven down the A1, no queues at the services I stopped at, plenty of petrol.

Apparently, there wasn’t even a national fuel shortage to begin with. A couple of petrol stations had a shortage, media got wind of it and falsely reported a national shortage, bedwetters started panic-buying all over the country which then created an artificial shortage which was manufactured by exaggerated media reports.

And so it goes...

That's exactly what happened, the media in this country are shocking and are the route of most problems. But on the flip side it shows how easily manipulated humans are. The media could pretty much get the population to do whatever it wanted if they really wanted to. Most people these days seem to lack the capacity to think independently.

Did the media 'big-up' a national shortage? I don't think so. I'm retired and spend a lot of time reading news. I saw lots of articles stating a small number of suppliers had closed a small number of petrol stations because of delivery problems. I saw countless pictures of Grant Shapp and others saying categorically there was no fuel shortage. I saw lots of pictures of queues at petrol stations. I think the media was right to report the delivery problem, govt (for once) did right to say there was no shortage, supplies ran out at some places because a lot of people are idiots.
I'm happy to knock msm when it's due but not in this case.

Behave, just take a look at how much the HDM "bigged it up" for a start, along with most other outlets, they made it way worse then it ever needed to be.

I work for a big retailer. Milk and bread used to come Everyday. Sometimes now it’s every other day. It’s the same as petrol. We just have to stop acting like idiots and calm down.
