I presume this hacks everyone off all the time, so this for me is unfathomable...

I've just a heard on the news that drivers can expect a significant increase in fuel prices next week due to the a rise in wholesale prices because of the hurricane in USA.... !!!!!!!!???????

Based on the fact oil is bought months and years in advance, how does what happened this week affect us. ?

The thing that makes fuel expensive is tax and that's our governments fault, not the oil companies.

Fuel costs about 1/3 of what we pay at the pump, the rest goes straight to the government.
