That's quite interesting, a good question. I can't think of one, other than Twatbeard [see, I still can't call him...] but I know there's been one or two others. I think Mick Channon going to Man City put me in the dumps with him, even though his move was understandable. Inevitably, he saw the error of his ways, and a reformed person is almost better than one who has never gone through it. So Channon went from Hero-Zero-Hero.
Osgood went from small hero to Hero. Keegan went from Hero [I always admired him from afar] to Super Hero and I didn't mind him leaving either really. Once I got to the 90's football didn't really affect me so much, and Matty did all the right things. Shearer could be classed as a bit of a hero-zero, but I missed much of his Saints career anyway.
