Bill Turner was on ATR recently and was saying that MICKS YER MAN who won the Brocklesby is the best juvenile he thinks he has ever had. I wonder where we might see him next!

Stick, that would have been an unexpected bonus seeing your pick drift way out to 33's only to come in placed... Some call had that gone in first when as you said it was a 6/1 shot earlier in the day...<yikes>

PRIME CONTENDER 5.55 Towc 10-1 has a long absence to overcome but I am confident that Jennie Candlish will have him straight for his return. He was previously racing off 122 and tomorrow races off a paltry 100. If anything like fit enough to do himself justice he should bolt up. Two miles on good ground at this testing track should be just about perfect. Smash into this one with confidence.

I just wanted to put something up for the last at Musselburgh this evening as it looks a good each way bet at the price.

What is significant is the Jockey booking, Graham Lee rides whenever available for Jim Goldie but the arrangement is nothing official, the point being if you see a Jim Goldie horse in the race but Graham Lee is riding something else it's usually because he fancies it more. Looking at Jockey bookings is not an exact science obviously and it could simply be the owner has a preference or something else but it usually points to the Lee horse having been purposely chosen over usual arrangements. Regarding the Goldie Horse Lee has ridden before and often rides for the owner and is able to do the weight. At the price his alternative mount may be worth a small each way interest.
 
Having a dabble on THE VICAR in the Towcester 8.25. I nearly put this one up last night and I am wishing I had as they have backed it all day. He was better than this before going pointing and has done really well in that sphere. He may give Moloney a hairy moment or two but if he jumps well I think he wins!
