a lucky 15 for me today,
Take a Note 2 35 G
Relentless Harry 2 45 Y
Wasabi 5 05 Y
Princess Bella (nap) 8 55 Tow

as ever, good luck to all punters....!

Tistory due to make his hurdles debut in the 6.55 at Towcester - surprised he's out so early <yikes> doubt we'll see him at the festival <laugh>

Oddy, I wouldn’t be so prompt to make such a judgement. Tistory is not a young horse anymore and so needs experience of timber sooner rather than later. The plan would be to give him vital experience of hurdling today and then put him away for an Autumn / Winter campaign which could yet pinnacle in the card commencer at next terms Cheltenham Festival.

He should sluice up today and don’t forget the regard that this horse (half-brother to Punchestowns) is held as not many animals go off as short as 2/1 in a highly, highly competitive Grade 2 after over 13 months off the track (as he did at Aintree in April). Lack of fitness did for the old boy on that occasion but tonight he should be spot on.

Cant wait for York tomorrow, not a good day on the card but the sun will be shining and thats all that matters. :)

The number of non-runners today is more than most of us can count up to and the feature race of the day is now a match! The vagaries of the old British weather are having quite an effect on running plans at the moment.

Good morning punters, I noticed a message from 365 about qualifying for a free bet in the 2:35 Goodwood as I had a winner in their last 4/1 offer race at 4;20 yesterday. I went for Harrison George as young Robert tart takes 5lbs off and the price has been tumbling. maybe I should have looked on here first Stick as I hate to oppose my mentor. I'll see how things are looking before the off and may consider a rev f/c.
I have been following the Elison stable for the past month and there have been some tasty winners at big prices.

Really like Bravo Echo, Stick, (good overall speed figures too) but will wait a bit before having a punt. If it does rain before 3 p.m. then old Harrison George would have a chance, he likes a bit of cut. Good luck and thanks for info! <ok>

What's the ground like at the Curragh at the moment chaps? Does anyone know?

I'm about 25miles from the course and we've had 2 days of decent weather here with a brisk breeze to dry things out. I would expect it to be no worse than good ground tomorrow with gtf possibly in the description by the evening.

ROTOs weather concerns are a real dampener. Cant believe we can be having going concerns today about a horse that handles good to soft. Its May 24th ffs!!!

Just spoke to my mate who is off to Haydock today, ive already got plans so cant go with him...:emoticon-0101-sadsm

We have both said that you will need a hold up runner today as it is blowing the proverbial hooly around these parts today, and getting cover will deffo help the horse's coming off the pace... That's about the sum of our thoughts for today... A very in depth way of sorting out your picks eh... Pricewise eat yer heart out...!!!

Anyway the ones that we both fancy from today's Haydock card are...

2.20 - Beat The Tide, 8/1
2.55 - Rose Gloria, 6/1
3.30 - Lord Ashley, 9/4
4.05 - Surround Sound, 11/4
4.40 - Odeliz, 11/4
5.15 - Tenhoo, 9/2

Ive given him a bob or 10 and gone halves with my pal who's going, so fingers crossed, though he will prob get there and change his mind about our early picks...<laugh><laugh>

Good luck to all today who do play...<cheers>
