Slate House the first one beat. Surely all is not well in the Tizzard yard? You wouldn't want to be lumping on Finian's Oscar next.

The 2.30 at Ascot has only 3 runners but what a cracker. Any of the 3 could win this. Benatar was beaten 8¼l by Finian's Oscar (levels) over hurdles in April. But that was only Benatar's 3rd run over hurdles. Unfancied at 33/1 didn't jump fluently and has always shaped like a chaser. Finian's Oscar was far from impressive over an inadequate distance lto and will clearly appreciate the step back up in trip. However, I suspect Benatar, now successfully switched to chasing, could reverse those placings at levels. The fact that he actually receives 5lb this time makes me fairly confident that Benatar can take this. Dolos isn't out of it either. Another improver now switched to chasing who won his fencing debut easily and doesn't need to improve much to take a hand. A very intriguing race where tactics will probably make the difference. I think the only way Finian's Osar could win this is to make it a proper stamina test and try to jump them silly.
Phew. Only just. The 5lb came in handy

At last maybe Tizzard will stop with his 2m nonsense for Finians Oscar. Must have been the only person in the world couldn't see he's never a 2 miler... <doh> Run a cracker in fairness the horse considering his last run too. Jumping's a bit sketchy maybe, being critical.

RSA I would think for Finian's? Gave a good account at the weights and I think he is better suited by Cheltenham.

I bought a crate of these bad boys yesterday for Christmas - Kloster Andechs Spezial Hell. 5.9% ABV and tastes like an angel crying on your tongue <ok>

Wasn't the winner one of the 2 horses who nabbed about 10 lengths at the start? Dodgy ............

Nearly bumper time stick - hope you've got a nice cold beer ready with your notebook <ok>

The big contest, the bumper King versus the bumper King. Sorry stickler I'm going with fergal, his figures are slightly better than yours and as I said before I'm a greedy bastard so I'm going with the value.

Christ 11-1 on Didtheleaveyououtto - huge price. I guess this is a serious race but he gets my vote though.
