Its my birthday and by way of a special celebration Ascot have laid on a very special bumper for my delight.

BULLIONAIRE 11/2 was mightily impressive when winning at Newbury last season and the race has been a winner factory.
There are some lovely types in this and a race well worth watching closely.

Many happy returns pal, enjoy your day and i hope the horse wins for you

Enjoy your birthday mate <ok>

In that bumper I think the McManus horse could be an absolute monster but as I am not betting I hope yours wins.

I finished work this evening for 2017 so tomorrow feels like my birthday. Have a great day Stick. Winners always take birthday celebrations to another level in my experience. :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:

Lucky bugger, i thought i'd done well because i managed the rare feat of negotiating both xmas day and boxing day off this year!

Was supposed to be in tomorrow but one of the bosses told us all not to come in. I wasn't going to argue Smokey. I seem to recall you're in the prison service so a different kettle of fish to my insignificant role. You can't send them bastards home for crimbo cos none of them would come back. Enjoy your break when it comes mate.

Happy Birthday stick. Hope your brilliant form holds up and you have a great day <cheers>

I was supposed to be in all over Xmas and new year with my shifts being the way they are. We self roster our shifts for the fortnight starting on the Sunday before Xmas and are told we only have to work one of the 'big three' of 25th, 26th or 1st Jan although you almost always end up working more than just one of them. I've lucked out this year and managed to get both Xmas day and Boxing day off so i'm quite happy with that, i've two kids under 5 so it'll be nice to home for xmas. Hopefully last time doing it though after 10 years working there i recently got myself a new job, i'm having a complete career change whilst i'm still relatively young enough at 35, i'm just waiting for a start date.

Good luck with that mate. The days of staying in the same profession for an entire career are long gone for many. I'm sure you'll do well. I would have thought 10 years working with the prison population is enough for most.
