So here goes then- the last hurrah! 1:30 Dandy Mag e/w This horse appeared very late in the season when winning a Gowran maiden in mid February. The form has little substance but her racing style and the way hr went away at the line once Ruby asked him really caught my eye. I love to see a juvenile hurdler improve from first to second start and I don't see the quicker ground causing him any problems- he looked a lovely actioned horse and this to me looks like a dark horse under the radar with plenty of improvement possible. It's a big jump to make, but it is factored into the price. 2.10 Joey Sasa e/w looks fairly perched to me off of 140. He has been in with half of the best Irish novices all year, is battle-hardened and I really think a storngly run County on spring ground is up his street. The bottom weight Mohaayed for Skelton also looks interesting. Saver. 2.50 Any Drama e/w looks to have a huge engine and I'm really interested to see it up in trip with a bit more time at his hurdles. Fry looking for back to back Albert Bartletts! 3.30 Sizing John Just looks a bloody nice horse. Touch wood he's been a lovely jumper but lacked the pace of Douvan at 2m. However, he has never had a problem with the Cheltenham hill and going up in trip has seen the best of him. The ground has come in his favour, he can be switched off and played late and I really think he will go close if he stays. Unexposed and improving. 4:10 Black Thunder e/w will relish the better ground today. Disappointing on heavy last time but this is the only one that matters and Greatex will have him primed. Overpriced at 33/1. 4:50 Verni e/w Up 10lb for latest win but stayed on strongly that day, which will suit here. Ground should help and very lightly raced. Improvement possible to progress with the 10lb penalty. In the last, Le Prezien should win this easily on form and an unbelievably generous mark- but he has to jump better and that's the concern. Skinny enough price. Will decide whether I play him before the off. Enjoy the day all.
Lads, help me and my friend out here, he had a £25 EW treble on Tuesday, 1st race placed 2nd, next 2 races won! bookies telling him that because the first race was placed, the next 2 got placed prices as well! We thought he'd get placed price on first then win price on 2nd and 3rd race. Bookie told us its standard practice that once a horse is place on an ew treble the rest are placed prices, any ideas?
Because you have two bets, a bet on all 3 winning and a bet on all 3 placing. If he had done a trixie however that would of been 3 doubles plus a treble
We never knew that and have been gambling for years! LOL! Thick Paddy's I guess (seeing as its St Patricks day) Lá fhéile Padraig díomh uilig! Ádh mór inniu le Cheltenham! Sizing John for me.

Quality coverage on RUK - great team with Lydia Hislop, Nick Luck, Jonathan Neesom. Really like this.
Vosne was lame last night. They have been up all night at Newlands massaging the boy. Looks like he will take his chance. Hardly a positive though is it.
Mmm Lizzie Kelly + Ellemarie Holden ........... delicious thought Winter Escape to recapture last years form and give JP a double for the day
