You fair talk some pish by the way.

NewCo are NOT PERMITTED to take part in Euro competitions for three years (actually is it not four?) because they are a new club and you need a minimum of three year's accounts.

No, that is bullshit, they aren't allowed because they aren't in the SPL to win and to qualify. If Rangers are in the SPL, which I'm sure they won't be, if they win the SPL they won't be allowed to compete in Europe. **** knows what you were trying to do with the Stenhousemuir thing, but it doesn't make one bit of sense. Clown.

ST, have I not said, that they are prohibited, as in not allowed, which also means, "not permitted", which IN EFFECT, means they are banned!

I'm making the analogy that rangers won't be playing in europe for next 3 seasons because they haven't met uefa's criteria for competing in those competitions - neither have stenhousemuir (theremight be different reasons and stenhousemuir might win the scottish cup in the next 3 years and prove me wrong) so my point - no matter how extreme - stands <ok>

Pretend soneone else is posting this and treat it for what it is.

In my opinion Whyte being a total **** gave Rangers some sort of chance. The club was going to die anyway. It was inevetable. He broke rule after rule to get Rangers to the end of the season and avoided the automatic demotion through doing this. That allowed this current debate to take place. It isn't Whyte that has failed to convince people of the value of a new club in the SPL. You are all buying the "it's the same club" bollocks anyway. You might be less inclined to if Rangers had failed to fulfil their SPL fixtures.

Murray caused this. Whyte kept the plates spinning till the end of the season.

No it doesn't, it is bollocks, because Stenhousemuir have a chance of playing in Europe in the next 3 years, Rangers do not have any chance.

Correct. Although saying prohibited is also technically correct.

    #sigh#

    For the love of ****.

So, Scotland were "banned" from the Euros then as we didn't fit the entry criteria (i.e qualified)?

England are "banned" from winning the Euros now that they have been knocked out?

I am banned from raping Catriona Shearer - there are laws specifically in place to stop me committing rape.

I am not banned from shagging her simply because I can't <doh>

For something to be banned, someone needs to ban it.

Simply being unable to access something is not being "banned" from it.
