complaints about noise, why the **** did they move near to spa then? as to france GP, why Magney cours? why not Paul Ricard?

Paul Ricard is in my favorite part of France, if the French GP was held there I'd travel down on my Bike, awesome.

El Bando
Patrick Tambay was a Frenchman.

Paul Ricard is owned by Bernie Ecclestone so im supprised it hasnt been on the calandar already.

Maybe bernie is not happy with a deal FOM are offering him to stage the race?.......

So Its true. The French Prime minister and the organisers at Paul Ricard have put an official proposal through and is preparing for 2013. The plan is to race share with Spa in Belgium on alternative years. The preferance of the race date is in august or september.

So we are going to be racing at Valencia every year but Spa only gets a race every other year. <grr>

It's bloody ridiculous. Others have said this already, but Bernie should be paying spa to hold a race, not the other way round. The best track in the world has to alternate, but the TESCO car park gets to stay? F1 is going mad.

The only solution is for us not to watch the races we expect to be boring. So who's up for this?

There may be a few amongst the wider f1 public, but I'd hazard that none of us in a forum are going to stop watching, and Bernie knows it…

I want a french race, but not at the expense spa. Even if it is only every other yeat. Would be a crying shame to lose a single race there while some truly terrible tracks sign their new deals.

Im not going to watch next years Valencia race. Why bother it is just as exciting to read the results later on and you dont have to waste two hours. Thats the only one that makes me angry at the moment though. Abu Dhabi gets one final chance this year.

Well, good on you Julius! And if it should reappear, how about Bahrain?

I'm afraid I will still watch them all, unless I'm busy; in which case I usually make a point of seeing them as soon as I have time…

Thats the thing with well known boring races... I still watch them in the hope they will be exciting this time round

Bahrain shouldn't be so bad next year. They're going back to the old layout, with those couple of fast corners coming back.
