I do post a lot during the week. I don't stick almost exclusively to one thread though. I like a bit of banter and to discuss football on this football forum. I often don't post as much at weekends as I'm busy. KC's post count can go through the roof on weekends!

Do you think that making DMD mod and his self appointed decision to take a Pravdaesque approach to controlling the content of his thread has helped advance the political debate and generally improved the content, quality and atmosphere on the PL board?

As a result if the no abuse rule I have interacted with you and others in s positive way.
I am not averse to **** posting and name calling but when I know it's not acceptable the discussion is much better.

I'm not a flying monkey or any other Wizard of Oz character and take people as I find them.
Even you can be ok and humerous at times.

@Dier Hard your point about posters having loads of other forums they could go to for fluffy political debate is very valid, particularly when you consider that the three posters on that politics thread who want the content to be censored all support Championship teams. It's odd that they are demanding protection to post their anti-islamic views on the PL board. Ironically less tolerant people would argue that they shouldn't be posting on the PL board at all. Closed borders and all that stuff.

No, I've actually made three solutions.
1) Don't ban people, that way no mod can be accused of having an agenda or being biased towards certain posters.
2) The posters who don't like the abusive side of this board should create or join a thread elsewhere where abuse isn't tolerated.
3) Make me a mod, so then I can just unban everyone.

This whole section of the board is childish and offensive - it's why many of us like it. To expect one thread to remain civil is naive, as I've constantly pointed out.

But I have to accept that the obese garage nonce who isn't actually very well off is allowed to insult me but I can't have a pop back?
