The cinema near me is an independent. You can order cocktails, wine, ice cream and snacks to be brought to your seat :)

  2. When I do that, my trousers fall down, Bodi.

    I need a new wardrobe, I reckon.

Anyone know any decent high fashion outlets? Something boutique. Not the kind of place that caters for the fat, sweaty messes of this world.

    Who are you kidding?

The only time you take off your belt and remove your trousers is when Sky needs to come up for air

  6. It is true that if I was to put on a pair of my old trousers I’d be able to squeeze Sky inside as well, but I’m not sure why I would want to do that? That’s the kind of twisted homo erotic thinking I expect from Bambs, mate.

I’ve met Sky, see, and I know he’d be able to snuggle his svelte, lithe booty deep inside my jeans, real easy.

Is this a new politically correct sport? We all loved throwing dwarves until the liberal society got involved but have you started a new trend of putting dwarves in your pants? More to the point does the anti dwarf throwing lobby embrace this activity?

If you use Unicorn as the sexual slang... A unicorn is a woman willing to have sex and or/relationship with both man and wife in a threesome.

So unicorns should never have bollox... Unless they're from Thailand.

I think Caliban is a character in one of Shakespeare's plays... Was it the Tempest? Some sort of fish human hybrid

Not sure about the colour mate but how much that piece of kit set you back, I'm guessing £600-700?

Which leads me to ask, do you own a semi acoustic electric guitar and what's your thoughts on them. I guess they have a unique tone for Blues/Jazz but would you use them for Rock and any examples of artists that i can research on the latter (ie You Tube)?

  13. I don't play jazz, it has never rocked my boat.

I love fusion rock, but mainly to play it. When I listen to other guys playing, I'm too busy listening to the mechanics to enjoy it.

Actually, the way that I judge great guitarists, these days, is by how quickly they can stop me listening to how they play what they're playing and, instead, listen to them playing.

    You didn't answer my question?

    The bit about semi acoustic.

    #375
  16. I no longer own a semi-acoustic. I used to have one made by Ibanez, which I chose from among several, including ones made by Taylor and Ovation. However, I sold it (and my acoustic guitar) a few years back, as I never played it.

I'm not a camp fire strummer or a jazzer.

  18. It's one of 12 that I currently own, including 6 Strats.

My main gigging guitar is a Palm Bay Tempest (a guitar designed and built by an English company), and a US made Paul Reed Smit Custom 22.

I have been on a seemingly never-ending quest to find my perfect guitar, and the Palm Bay comes as close to it as I have got.

Here is a selection of the guitars that I have owned and sold over the years:-

Gibson Les Paul Gary Moore signature (2001model)
    Gibson Les Paul Standard (1988)
    Gibson Les Paul Studio (2007)
    Gibson Firebird VI
    Gibson Flying V
    Fender Strat Robert Cray signature
Fender Strat USA 40th Anniversary model
    Ibanez J Custom
Ibanez Jem 7v (Steve Vai signature)
Paul Reed Smith USA Custom 24
    Ernie Ball Music Man Axis

The above are the more expensive ones; I have sold around a dozen "cheaper" guitars.

A couple on that list hurt me, to this day, that I no longer have them, but I have learned to be brutal when it comes to GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome). Even now, there are a lot of guitars I would love to own and play, but I now work on the rule of "sell before you buy" in order to keep the collection at a manageable level.

  19. You're asking me about something that I have told you I have very little interest in.

Don't you ever read the replies you get to your bizarre questions?
