That Seven Heavens is going to make some specimen as a 3 and 4 year old. What a stamp of a horse.

Watching his action was very reminiscent of his father.

From what I hear all of them look like they will be bigger and better at 3 and beyond. None of them look like precocious 2 year olds but they have got engines. Apparently it's something that caused muttering at the Sales last year, people didn't know what to expect from them as they looked a real mixed bunch - "plenty of timber" was the phrase I heard a lot!

CUNCO - 4th
LAST KINGDOM - 2nd
TOULIFAUT - 1st

So 8 runners, 7 winners in Europe plus 1 unplaced in Japan

Just seen this on Twitter, looks like LAST KINGDOM blew the start in France so did well to finish 2nd.

Interesting as well, prophetic almost, that the best two thus far,to my mind, race in Frankels livery.

Big groundshift coming ahead in the stallion hierarchy if this pattern continues.

How much time has Galileo got left Princess as a top sire?

Galileo is 18 now. If they're lucky he might have 5 or 6 productive years left in him. Sadler's Wells remained covering until he was 26 though in his final active years his book dipped below 100. Dansili and Pivotal are slightly older than Galileo (20 and 23 respectively) and both are already seeing their books start to drop as old age starts to catch up with them.

I also hear things on the grapevine such as that he has had colic surgery a few times and they're worried that if it happens again he won't come through it.

At the moment, you have to say that SEA THE STARS will be more successful as he has the stats to back him up. Ask me again at the end of the 2017 season and I'll give my opinion!

I think they're just taking advantage of the opportunity to get another run into her without having to step her up in class and without too big a penalty. Fahey thinks a lot of her and was gutted not to win the Albany so perhaps he thinks she just needs some additional experience.

LIGHTENING FAST entered for the 2.55 at The Curragh on Saturday. He holds an entry in the G1 Phoenix Stakes and the G1 National Stakes so they obviously think a bit of him.

Easy peasy for QUEEN KINDLY. RUK said that the racing manager has said she'll either go for the Princess Margaret at Ascot or the Lowther next.

Lord Grimthorpe is reported as saying that they are considering the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood for SEVEN HEAVENS and that FAIR EVA is likely to line up in the Princess Margaret at Ascot next week - perhaps a clash with QUEEN KINDLY?
