A lengthy piece in the Racing Post today. It’s behind the paywall so I’ve taken screenshots.

The race for the sires title is likely to go very close.

Frankel is currently almost exactly £1 million behind Dubawi in the race for leading GB/IRE Sire, with Sea the Stars just £250k behind him in 3rd

If Inspiral and Eternal Pearl oblige that will net approx £900,000 in prize money and depending on what Adayar does the winnings from the Champion Stakes could be key (£737k to the winner and £259k to 2nd).

Dubawi has decent chances in 4 of todays races at Ascot, so I really think it will go down to the wire.

Dubawi draws a blank in the Long Distance Cup. He has 2 chances in the Sprint with the 2 Godolphin runners.

Minor place money for Dubawi in the sprint.

A blank for Frankel in the Fillies & Mares, and Sea The Stars overtakes him - for now!

Sad to see Baaeed beat but it serves to show just how great Frankel was to remain unbeaten over 3 seasons.

Sires Title current standings, though I don’t know whether it’s officially over now or if it runs to the end of the year. Either way, Dubawi has pretty much sewn it up!
