Couple of Frankel hopefuls in the 16.45 Newmarket tomorrow. Will be disappointing if one of those doesn't win. Not to mention the granddaughter in the first

Rebel Red - unplaced (10th - ran as if something amiss as he stopped very quickly having been up with the pace)
I always wax lyrical about this particular race, as I have some personal involvement in it! It does have an outstanding record though - from 7 previous runnings (2015-2021) with 67 runners, the race has produced an astonishing 47 winners (70%) and 10 (15%) black type horses. Cracksman and Hurricane Lane both won this race, and of course Cracksman had a certain Stradivarius in behind him that year.

Interestingly, Soul Sister is bred on an intriguing cross, being out of a Dansili mare making her inbred to Danehill 4x4. This particular cross has had 9 runners resulting in 7 winners to date. She’s currently 7/1 to win on her debut.
