Nothing But Dreams has no entries at all. She was quoted for the Ribblesdale. Has the closing date for that race passed Princess?

All Royal Ascot race entries have closed (only Group 1s have supplementary stages) and Nothing But Dreams was amongst the 57 fillies originally entered for the Ribblesdale as listed on SportingLife.com.

I will take it as read that the updated version on Racing Post site that Princess references means she is a no show (cannot access it from the office as RP blocked as gambling).

Hmm. If you had the deluge of rain we had here last night, I suspect the going will have changed somewhat, in case she has been avoiding the firm ground. However, in view of the superb weather of late, maybe the ground has been unsuitable for her preparation. Maybe she trained on a surface which they discovered was too firm and she has knocked herself back a bit.

i think its definitely something to do with the ground. There was another Frankel filly (La Figlia) that was entered and taken out of a couple of races recently which had the common denominator of firm ground.

Gosden confirmed WESTERLAND may go to Royal Ascot and has been quoted at 25-1 for the Coventry.

Apologies, I made an error about the race won by LAST KINGDOM in France the other day. It was not a Listed race but a Conditions Race.

Frankel's FLORA DE MARIPOSA was 3rd in Japan in the early hours of this morning. She's a Southern Hemisphere bred so although she is running against 3yos she won't actually turn 3 until, September.

Plenty of other Frankel runners to watch out for today though with CRACKSMAN, EMINENT, CAPTOR, SAN REMO, ZEFFERINO and FRANKED all running.

With Royal Ascot fast approaching here's a summary of the big race entries, though obviously there are still some races that have yet to close:

Tuesday
King's Stand (G1) - QUEEN KINDLY
St James's Palace (G1) - DREAM CASTLE

Thursday
Ribblesdale (G2) - MORI & ALJEZEERA

Friday
King Edward VII (G2) - ATTY PERSSE, COUNT OCTAVE, CRACKSMAN, FRANKUUS, MIRAGE DANCER, MONARCHS GLEN, THE GRAND VISIR & WEEKENDER
Commonwealth Cup (G1) - DREAM CASTLE & QUEEN KINDLY
Queens Vase (G2) - COUNT OCTAVE, FRANKUUS, SAN REMO, THE GRAND VISIR & UAE KING

Thursday (entries)
SAN REMO in the Listed King George V Cup at Leopardstown
MUSIKEL in a 1m1f Handicap at Carlisle

Friday (entries)
IMMORTALISED in a 1m3f Handicap at Carlisle

Saturday (entries)
OMNEEYA in a 7f Maiden at Newmarket

Martyn Meade has ruled EMINENT out of the Irish Derby and will instead aim him for either the Eclipse or the Grand Prix de Paris.
