In all seriousness, he's not as good as you lot make out.

At least someone from the outside can see what a player F Campbell is. I never wanted him, his career is going backwards, at an alarming rate. One bullet successfully dodged in my honest opinion.

Theres too high a chance of him being out injured for long stretches but I will be sick if he bangs in a load of goals for Cardiff and costs us promotion, time will tell. If he's fully fit now then he's a top-class player.

I can't help but foresee Campbell scoring plenty of goals for Cardiff. Yes, he hasn't played consistently since leaving us, however he is a really talented player and I'm sure he will excel in this division. Cardiff will win the league this season, I have no doubts.

Nobody knows how he will perform for us after so long out. So many of you saying "A bullet dodged there", how would you know? He has had such little game time at Sunderland, that you can't possibly know he's going to be terrible. Players never loose their quality, and I can see him doing very well for us myself. He's a top class finisher, and as I've said, you can't loose your class/quality at the age he is at.

Was talented. He hasn't displayed those 'talents' since 2008. I think he'll be mediocre and back in the Championship next season if Cardiff are promoted this season.

I think you're quite right. Some on here have had their judgement clouded by what amounts to snippets from our local rag so the comments are not always objective. Ironically, having said that, one of the reasons I'm not too upset by him not coming here is that I doubt he'd handle the pressure of expectation. That's more a comment on some of our fans than it is on Campbell.

Whatever else he may or may not be, he was a very good footballer and his skill was natural, so he should have kept it.

One person said 'dodged a bullet' and it was me. I don't rate him and didn't want him at our club. You only have to look at his goal scoring record, it's ****e. He couldn't even get into a piss poor Sunderland side that were bereft of goals. Plus he's had 2 cruciate injuries, he's no better than what you have.
