Even if it isn't 100% accurate, first time we've had a name of any kind to attach to another potential bidder. Would be surprised if they've just picked his name out of a hat at random, someone wants to have his name involved.

Interesting that he hasn't responded. If Donald was desperate he'd have at least given him a chance, unless he's adamant that they're such chancers that they'll make him look bad by proxy.

3 other bidders sounds a bit fanciful, but I wonder if the other interest is why he's been quiet the last few weeks?

after all the leaks of information that have gone on previously, he probably doesn't trust anyone around him any more, can't blame him for keeping things close to his chest now, hopefully it's a determined effort to get it over the line this time. Lets hope we hear nothing until the press release confirming a takeover.

I agree with that but I would also say that he's been his own worst enemy.

My gut has always been that will be the case whatever happens.

Didnt Short say other party would buy but trusted Donald would be best for the club. Etc
