There are so many illogical things about this potential £10m deal when you think about it. The timing is atrocious for everyone and although FPP might think the price is better, it's only by a net £5m or so, which will be absorbed undoing Donald's new appointments, appointing their own hierarchy to run us and keeping reserves in place for next year.

I don't know. Something is weird here, I don't get why this would drop now, and as much as I think they're sometimes wrong, surely smug's sources would be happy to drop him a text if this was actually happening now. They do act in good faith, and if a deal was agreed...

This is classic wind-up whatsapp territory isn't it? Whenever we're in flux, people post some elaborate ITK ****e claiming to know the details of something that's imminent.

... you sure seem pretty desperate for FPP to vanish, every time its the same agenda.

No, I'm very keen for them to get on board. I just don't believe the timescales make sense to come out with within what 36hrs of the article being published?

And those NDA's didnt stop people feeding you info before.

(I signed one on friday btw :o )

"That's come from someone with, in all honesty, a vested interest but, on the other hand, no need to lie.

I'm not important enough, in his world, for him to want to impress me or for me to keep asking him questions.

The last time I texted I got 'no change!' but this time there was a ! which I took to mean 'stop asking, I'll keep you posted'.

It's frustrating because he told me loads at one time but the goalposts have shifted a bit now."

Yeah. Can you not see this is a compliment? I'm saying that if doon toon was getting info, I'd expect your sources to have more and if it was imminent, be happy to share it with you?

Which is one of the reasons to add to the others that I am not jumping on the 'THIS IS IT LADS' bandwagon that started on rtg.

Think you are off the mark here. No matter who was in charge, if they were skimming the cash out of the club with the promise to pay it back only to welsh on that promise when they think everyone has forgot the fans would be upset. The reaction of people is genuine not faux and it is a function of the **** we have had since these two(three :D) turned up. On its own without the history of misinformation from the hierarchy it would make any set of fans sit up an voice concern. When added to the stuff we have already had to deal with it does magnify the severity of the reaction but not without very good reason.

I really do hope the info is correct and have no reason to doubt the source. I just hope its finally the end of the chancers
